ABR Talent Limited is a recruitment business which provides work-finding services to its clients and work-seekers. In doing so, ABR Talent Limited acts as a data controller and must process personal data (including sensitive personal data) to deliver those services.
You may give your personal details to ABR Talent Limited directly, for example by submitting a CV or job role specification through our website, or we may collect them from another source such as a jobs board. We will only use your personal data in accordance with the terms set out in this policy.
1. Collection and use of personal data
a. Purpose of processing and legal basis
ABR Talent Limited will collect and process your personal data for the purpose of providing work-finding and recruitment services. The legal bases we rely upon are:
- Consent
- Legitimate interest
- Legal obligation
- Contractual obligation
b. Legitimate interest
Where ABR Talent Limited relies on legitimate interest to process your personal data, that interest is as follows: in order to offer work-finding or permanent recruitment services to you, we need to process your personal data and share relevant information (typically a CV or equivalent) with prospective employers or clients.
c. Website and platform
Our candidate and client submission forms are hosted via Lovable, a no-code web platform. Data submitted through these forms may be processed by Lovable's infrastructure. By submitting your details, you acknowledge this processing.
d. Recipients of data
ABR Talent Limited may share your personal data and/or sensitive personal data with the following recipients:
- Clients of ABR Talent Limited, after gaining your consent, for the purpose of providing work-finding services. This may be direct to the client or via a portal managed by the client's Managed Service Provider.
- Loxo, our recruitment CRM platform, which stores and manages candidate and client records on our behalf as a data processor.
- Recruitment partners and third-party staffing organisations where a role cannot be filled by ABR Talent Limited alone, and where we have your consent to share your details.
- Payroll companies, after gaining your consent, for the purpose of ensuring you are paid correctly if you engage through a third-party PAYE arrangement.
- Government bodies as required by law, including HMRC for Real Time Information payroll reporting.
- Software support companies where an issue requires external technical assistance.
e. Statutory and contractual requirements
Your personal data is not required as part of a statutory and/or contractual requirement, and/or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract.
2. Data retention
ABR Talent Limited will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary. Different laws require us to keep different data for different periods of time.
The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 require us to keep work-seeker records for at least one year from (a) the date of their creation or (b) the date on which we last provided you with work-finding services.
We must also keep payroll records, holiday pay, sick pay and pensions auto-enrolment records for as long as is legally required by HMRC and associated legislation.
Where ABR Talent Limited has obtained your consent to process your personal data, including contact details, employment history, right to work documentation, and sensitive personal data, we will do so in line with our retention policy. Upon expiry of that period, the Company will seek further consent from you. Where consent is not granted, ABR Talent Limited will cease to process your data.
3. Your rights

- The right of access to the personal data ABR Talent Limited processes on you
- The right to rectification of your personal data
- The right to erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances
- The right to restrict processing of your personal data

- The right not to be subjected to automated decision-making and profiling
- The right to withdraw consent at any time
